Firebeatz, the name says it all. The fast rising Dutch duo made up of Tim and Jurre are wellknown for their fierce productions and high energy DJ sets, and it’s not too hard to see how they went from being students in The Netherlands to the dynamic force that is Firebeatz. With massive dancefloor hits and widespread support from their peers and fans alike, Firebeatz have already become an established name within the global dance music industry. By consistently touring the world and spreading their musical philosophy, Firebeatz continues to grow their fanbase every single day.

After forming Firebeatz in 2008, Tim and Jurre immediately began firing out releases. Soon their tracks “Funky Shit,” “Where’s Your Head At,” “Miniman,” “Dear New York” and “Here We F*cking Go” began to rise higher and higher in the Beatport charts.

In 2012, the “Just One More Time Baby” collab with Chocolate Puma was highly praised by BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, and topped the Beatport House chart for weeks. “Dear New York,” a collab with rising talent Schella incorporated a classic sample within a bass heavy production, and enjoyed massive DJ support, subsequently skyrocketing up to #2 in the Beatport Top 100. Due to its massive popularity, “Dear New York” remained a Beatport Top 10 track for weeks on end in 2012.

In 2013, Firebeatz managed to keep the momentum with “Gangster” which reached the Beatport Top 20 and their collaboration with Bobby Burns in “Ding Dong”, released by Tiësto’s Musical Freedom label. Their track “Yeahhhh” came out on Calvin Harris’s Fly Eye Records and Firebeatz were asked to make an exclusive remix of “Thinking About You”, a collaboration between Calvin Harris and Ayah Marar. Their track “Wonderful” gained support by established DJs such as Afrojack, Chuckie, Sander van Doorn, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Thomas Gold and R3hab.

They also successfully managed to diversify and cross over to other genres by collaborating with artists like Pitbull, James Blunt, Ian Carey, Snoop Dogg, Freestylers, Flo Rida, Timbaland, Fatman Scoop, Alex Gaudino, Wynter Gordon, Bingo Players and Sean Paul. The latter two reaching Beatport’s Main Top 15.[5]

“Max Ammo”, released December 2013, has reached the Beatport top 20.[6] Their release together with Martin Garrix “Helicopter” got to No. 1 in Beatport.[7] They released “Guitar Track” with Sander van Doorn in March 2014 after it was initially previewed with their identities hidden. [8] In November 2014, Firebeatz worked alongside Calvin Harris to release “It Was You”, featured on Harris’s fourth studio album Motion.
