The Jakarta Syndicate is an unique collaboration between 3 amazing artists. The DJ’s are: Riri, DJ Winky and DJ Mahesa Utara. They are all from Jakarta. This brand new project will have its special premiere at Dreamfields festival 2015.

In the beginning of 2008 Mahesa Utara diced to become a DJ and started producing and remixing electronic music. By the end of that year, he won a remix competition and received and Indonesian REDMA award for the ‘Best Remix of The Year’. This all happened before he even reached the age of 21.

His brand of Dutch House, Fidget House, B-more and Electro productions have garnered early and continuous support from Diplo and Laidback Luke. In 2010 Seb Ingrosso played Mahesa’s remix from ‘Are You Ready’ by Angger Dimas at a Sensation NYE party in Germany. Which pretty much introduced Moombahton to the world.

At the moment, Riri is one of the busiest DJ’s in Indonesia’s dance scene. He has been lined up with several big DJ’s coming to Indonesia like Cressida, Marco V, Kaskade etc. This is what he has been working for since he was 17 years old.

He is not only loved by locals, but all throughout Asia and Australia. Riri has been chosen as one of the 10 best young music entrepreneurs in Indonesia. Music is his passion. When he is not DJ’ing, he is busy with his own independent label; ‘Spinach Records’, his DJ academy and his own club ‘Barcode’ in Jakarta.

Winky Wiryawan started his career as a DJ in 1994. He produced and mixed various songs from breaks, ambient, tribal, progressive and techno. Winky Wiryawan has developed a mix of sounds that are all his own: innovative, challenging, yet accessible and even dancefloor friendly. This has led him to share decks with many famous DJ’s and producers such as Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Paul van Dyke, Steve Lawler, Darren Price of Underworld, Daniel Kandi, Spirit Catcher etc.

His recent set proves that Winky Wiryawan is always searching for possibilities to listen and play other genres. In this set he is varying from the mash-ups of house, progressive, electro, hip hop and breaks, but he still keeps the melody in his fundamental of house and breaks. Winky believes music cannot be apart because of their genres, it should be blended as one language they would call universal.
